Mape Cleaning Services Inc. ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. When you request an estimate or book an appointment, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the services you are interested in, your preferred date and time, and — if you provide them — your service address and your message. For security, our servers also briefly process technical data such as your IP address, solely to prevent spam and abuse of our forms. If you submit a review, we also collect your name, star rating and comment (shown publicly once approved) and, if you choose to provide it, your email address (kept private and used only to follow up with you).
Why we collect it
We use your information only to respond to your request, prepare and deliver a quote, schedule and confirm your appointment, and provide our cleaning services. We never sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Consent and how to withdraw it
By submitting a form, you consent to our using your information for the purposes above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us: we will stop using your information and delete it, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation. Withdrawing your consent may prevent us from providing the service you requested.
Sharing with service providers
We share your information only with the providers that make this site work: our email provider (Resend) delivers your request to our team, and our hosting provider (Vercel) serves the site. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. The Contact section embeds a Google Maps frame, which is loaded by Google and may collect technical data such as your IP address under Google's own privacy policy. We never sell or rent your information.
Where your information is stored
Our hosting provider processes this site in its Montréal, Canada region. Our email provider, however, operates servers outside Canada — primarily in the United States. Your request may therefore be stored, processed and accessed outside Canada, and be subject to the laws of the country where it is held, including lawful access requests by foreign authorities. We only work with providers that apply comparable safeguards, and we transfer only what is needed to answer you.
Cookies
This site uses a single functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers your language choice. We use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies — which is why you see no cookie banner.
Retention and security
We keep your request only as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then we delete it. Your data travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected if it is inaccurate, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first — we take it seriously and will work with you to resolve it. If our answer does not satisfy you, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The date shown at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision, and any significant change will be flagged here.
